Missouri Contracting & Cleaning solves disasters for home and business owners

Friday, March 28^th, was Kathy DePee Day at AAS Cleaning Systems, LLC, located in Kansas City, MO.

Kathy retired from the restoration company after 24 years of service. She worked as a cleaning technician with IICRC certifications in Fire and Smoke Restoration as well as Odor Control. Kathy was the Warehouse Production Supervisor for the past five years. With retirement at hand, Kathy is looking forward to traveling around the countryside with her husband.

A reception was held at the end of the day for Kathy, friends and coworkers. Stories were shared and Kathy recalled some of the highlights from her long career. Punch, cake and ice cream were served and those attending enjoyed the chance to wish Kathy a happy retirement and safe travels.

To commemorate her long-term employment with the company, Bruce and Amy Storts, owners of AAS Cleaning, presented Kathy with a commemorative plaque and a gift card.

Kathy said she will miss the people the most and not being around them every day will be tough. “My favorite part of the job was getting the chance to help people in need.” She also enjoyed learning new methods of cleaning while on the job. She appreciated the opportunity to be a part of the company for 24 years and marveled at how much the restoration business had changed over the years.
